Committed to Decarbonizing Heating

Every GreenHeat platform ships with a lifecycle carbon impact report. Our ISO 14001 certified manufacturing facilities run on 80% renewable energy, and all new systems are designed for low-GWP refrigerants including R-290, R-32, and transcritical CO2.

We are on track for carbon-neutral manufacturing by 2030, working with facility owners and district heating operators to reduce the carbon intensity of space heating and process thermal energy worldwide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about heat pump technology, sizing, and ROI.

Our air-source heat pumps achieve rated COP values of 4.2 to 4.5 under standard EN 14511 test conditions. At partial loads (typical for most operating hours), the inverter-driven compressor maintains efficiency above 4.0 COP down to 25% capacity. Real-world SCOP values of 3.8 to 4.3 are typical across European climate zones.

All new GreenHeat platforms are designed for low-GWP refrigerants. Our air-source range uses R-290 (propane, GWP=3) or R-32 (GWP=675) depending on capacity and application. For industrial high-temperature applications, we offer a transcritical CO2 (R-744) cascade option delivering supply water up to 90 degrees Celsius. All systems are F-Gas Regulation compliant.

Payback periods depend on the replaced heating source, local energy prices, and system sizing. Replacing gas boilers in a commercial building typically yields payback within 4 to 7 years based on energy savings alone. Including carbon tax benefits and maintenance cost reductions, many installations achieve payback in 3 to 5 years. Our engineering team provides detailed TCO analysis during the project consultation phase.

Yes. All GreenHeat platforms support BACnet, Modbus TCP/IP, and KNX communication protocols as standard. The GreenHeat Connect IoT gateway provides an additional cloud-based monitoring layer that operates independently of or alongside your existing BMS. We offer pre-configured integration templates for major BMS platforms including Siemens Desigo, Honeywell Niagara, and Johnson Controls Metasys.

Noise is a critical design parameter for our commercial heat pumps. Our air-source units achieve 42 dB(A) at 1 meter through EC fan technology, vibration-isolated compressor mounts, and acoustically optimized cabinet design. For sensitive installations adjacent to residential areas, we offer optional sound attenuation enclosures that reduce levels to below 35 dB(A) at 3 meters, meeting even the most stringent local noise ordinances.

We replaced our legacy gas boilers with GreenHeat air-source units across 14 buildings. The COP of 4.3 at partial load has cut our heating energy costs by 38% in the first year. The GreenHeat Connect platform gives our engineering team real-time COP tracking and predictive maintenance alerts across the entire fleet from a single dashboard.
